Tui Lodge is a fantastic home to stay in , its facilities and location are perfect for a group/family gathering.

Great location, comfortable space, house in ok condition Positive: Plenty of space Negative: The condition of the decking around the house didn’t feel particularly safe.

Great place close to the lake Positive: Comfortable big house for a larger group to stay in. Bedrooms were comfortable, kitchen worked well. Nice outdoor space.

Terrible and Uninhabitable!!! Negative: This property should not be listed on Booking.com in its current condition. The accommodation we walked into was unsafe, filthy, and absolutely nothing like the photos shown online. The issues were severe and made the room impossible to stay in: – Thick layers of dust and dirt throughout – Mold on surfaces and walls – Broken furniture with sharp, exposed screws posing a real injury risk – Drawers falling apart – Stained bedding and overall lack of hygiene – A general state of neglect that suggests the room had not been cleaned or maintained for a very long time These are not minor issues—they show a complete disregard for guest safety and basic cleanliness. We had no choice but to leave immediately and book another hotel at our own expense. I am attaching photos so future guests can see the real and unacceptable state of this property. This was one of the worst accommodation experiences we have ever encountered, and it should serve as a warning to others.

Lovely spot to stay in Taupo Positive: Great spot in Taupo, few minutes walk to the lake front and a bit longer into town. A good base for us for a family trip. Plenty of room. One bedroom is large and roomy, the other double bedroom is a bit smaller, then the last two bedrooms are both single beds. Definite bonus having two toilets for six people. Negative: Noted that some of the boards on the wraparound porch have seen better days and probably need replacing. We kept the 6-year-old from running on them due to some of the instability and trip hazards.
